About the Speaker, John McCarthy, M.Ed., SPHR:

John McCarthy is a devoted husband to Julie and father to his three young children. He is a lifelong Cincinnati resident passionate about supporting individuals, communities, and organizations to be the best they can be through self-discovery, forward-thinking strategy, and accountability.

Professionally, John is an entrepreneur, author, consultant and coach. He holds a bachelor's degree in business from Ohio University and a Master's in Human Resources Development from Xavier University. After a few years in the workforce, John launched his first entrepreneurial venture, AGI Management. This consultancy supports organizations on attracting and retaining top talent through developing a high-performance culture. He has since launched The Purpose Promise to walk unfulfilled workers into a better sense of their purpose.

John has authored and published five books to support his passion to lead others in self-discovery. He has consulted dozens of start-up ventures and helped others take their dreams to action in launching businesses. John serves on numerous Executive Boards, including The Purposed Parish, Unleash Love, Conduit Apprenticeship Program (CAP), and At Work On Purpose (AWOP).

John's greatest joy comes from his faith. quality family time, encouraging others to reach their fullest potential, coaching sports, and telling "dad" jokes.
